  ● Blocking/Tying or cutting of the vas deferens

  ● After surgery, the patient is required to achieve 15-30 ejaculations (1-3 months) thereafter to achieve a 0 SPERM COUNT

• Procedure

  The surgeon will divide and close off the ends of the vas deferens (the tubes that carry sperm), preventing sperm from getting through. (divided and tied, clipped or cauterized)
• Benefits

  Stops the sperm from mixing with semen and releasing when a man ejaculates during an orgasm.
• CONTRAINDICATIONS

  ● Diabetes mellitus

  ● Infection at site of incision

  ● Clotting disorders

  ● Enlarged or painful testicles

  ● Hernia or hydrocele
