    ○ Belongs to the anterior muscle group and lies in the first layer
    ○ Relatively thin muscle
    ○ Arises in the humerus epicondyle
    ○ Close to the wrist area
  • Palmaris Longus
    ○ Belongs to the anterior forearm flexor group in the human upper extremity
    ○ Attaches proximally to the medial humeral epicondyle and distally to the palmar aponeurosis and flexor retinaculum
