Baudrillard and postmodernism

• reality vs artificial, baurdillard thinks we used to see the reality in the media, thinks we left reality behind and we are in world of artificial realities, societies starts to evolve as media products are made,
• eg freshly squeezed orange juice, hightened reality of the original orange, but still links to a real orange as there is real orange ingredients in the actual juice itself,
• artificial copies- simulacra
• baudrillard thinks we are surrounded by similacra of media products,
• simulacra become hard to tell apart from reality- hyperreality
