  first person to explain human behaviour by looking at the mind, this was the best explanation at the time and psychology would not exist without wundt, it was scientific at the time due to the standardised procedures and was objective then
• limitations of wundt's introspection

  didnt meet replicability as the same results cannot be obtained at each time and lacks accuracy/validity as participants couldve lied so wundt would be analysing things wrong therefore making wundt's conclusions untrustworthy
