    Cormorant is a big bird
    Funeral silk is an oxymoron. funerals are associated with death but silk is a soft expensive material almost a luxury
    The bird is coated in oil so it’s essentially wrapped in death

    the solider is not seen as a person but as a solider who is known for the country he fought for
    He was killed by a fire caused by a human. Humans fight against eachother but in reality they should fight for eachother and keep eachother safe

    The earth is burnt which was caused by humans
    The sun is put out which means the world has ended. means a lack of light Implying that humans are now in hell for their sins and they will face eternal suffering
