Null hypothesis
Directional hypothesis

States the kind of difference between two conditions or two groups, also known as a
one-tailed
hypothesis.
Non-directional hypothesis
Simply states that there is a difference between two

or two groups of
participants
but not who will perform better or worse.
Null hypothesis
