What is Worship?
Worship means 'worthiness'.
Christians believe that in their worship they are focusing their attention on God because He is worth it.
Examples of Worship
singing songs,
go to Church,
reading Book of Common prayer,
visit religious places,
read the Bible,

Types of Worship
Worship can be categorised as
private or public
Worship can also be categorised as liturgical and non-liturgical.
Liturgical
- follows a set pattern or structure. e.g Catholic or Anglican churches
Non-liturgical
- no set pattern or structure. e.g. Quaker, Pentecostal churches
What are some positives of non-liturgical worship
shows love and connection to God however it’s done,
reflects different emotions
e.g. quiet when you want to be alone,
may attract worshippers of different ages,
reflects different cultures.
