    they were devout Christian’s - followed the Pope strictly which meant their churches mimicked Ancient Rome and were not corrupt like Anglo-Saxon churches were.

    became king when he was 8 which caused many rebellions but as he grew up he made strategical alliances which helped crushed these rebellions
