• What was the aim


  To investigate whether the presence of an audience affects sporting performance
• IV and DV


  IV = with/without an audience (peers watching/empty stairwell)

  DV = number of balls successfully thrown into a bucket out of 10
• The sample


  A Level (Yr12) Psychology students at SJD, opportunity sampling = students are readily available to psychology teacher, sample size = 18
