  • All Jews were forced into ghettos where they were walled off from the rest of the city
  • Horrible conditions with almost 4000 jews dying each month from diseases and starvation
• The Final Solution

  • Concentration camps were built across Nazi Europe with around 3 million being built in Poland, where Jews were sent to to carry out forced labour
  • These camps eventually turned into death camps where over the 4 years of WWII, 6 million Jews were put to death
  • They were put into gas chambers, and then their bodies were transported to be burnt or dumped

  • killed 1 million Jewish Soviet citizens at an attempt to purify the population and Europe
