there are three ways to make soluble salts:
metal + acid reacts to form salt + hydrogen
alkali + acid reacts to form salt + water
base + acid reacts to form salt + water
salt solutions are produced by adding a
solid
to the
acid
until no more reacts and the excess solid is
filtered
off. solutions can then be
crystalised
to produce solid salts.
