soluble salts

    Cards (2)

    • there are three ways to make soluble salts:
      1. metal + acid reacts to form salt + hydrogen
      2. alkali + acid reacts to form salt + water
      3. base + acid reacts to form salt + water
    • salt solutions are produced by adding a solid to the acid until no more reacts and the excess solid is filtered off. solutions can then be crystalised to produce solid salts.
