Kinesis

• Kinesis: A non-directional response to a stimulus.
• The organism does not move towards or away from the stimulus. Instead, in response to an unfavourable stimulus the organism will move faster and change direction more frequently. This type of random movement is designed to help the 0rganism quickly find more favourable conditions.
