  K+ actively transport IN
• 3 - using Na-K pump, in 3:2 ratio
• 4 - ions diffuse down electrochemical gradient

  Na+ IN, K+ OUT
• 5 - Na+ channels closed, K+ channels open
• 6 - more + on the outside than inside
• 7 - creates potential difference of -70mv
