INFER: This suggests that Macbeth must overcome any obstacle to fulfill his ambition. Macbeth also compares his ambition to a horse and rider who overestimate their ability to leap over an obstacle and end up falling down.
PERCEPTIVE: Macbeth is avaricious as he yearns for power and status. Accompanying the position of him being king, moreover Macbeth becoming king provides him with materialistic advantages (a castle and a crown). Macbeth's avaricious nature connotes his omnipotent ambition which leads to his hamartia.
