Student vet nurses may be directed by vet surgeons that employ them.
To give or carry out any medical treatment
Or carry out limited vet surgery not involving entry to the body cavity
The vet surgeon must be satisfied that the nurse is capable of carrying out the treatment and must be supervised by a vet surgeon or registered vet nurse
In a direct, continuous and personal manner
