• Schlalfy: Argues that men are biologically different than women, so it makes sense why women are in the household. Women shouldn’t work because it damages the children, as they may be looked after by someone else when they are at work.
• Schlalfy: The only aim of women is to love and to be loved. The only important thing for a women should be to be a wife and a mother, and if they do not do so, it damages their household.
• Murray – men and women should not have the same experiences. There are natural differences between them and they should not compete against each other. He argues that we need both parents to do their jobs (women as carers, men as providers), so the government does not have to give benefits.
