  • Industrial Workers of the World (IWW or Wobblies)
    • Established in 1905
    • Militancy and violence of group meant they were disliked by employers
  • Women’s Trade Union League
    • Formed in 1903
    • Goal was to support AFL and encourage women to join unions
    • Provided financial assistance, training in skills and social refinement for blue collar women
    • Between 1907-22 it was most active under Margaret Dreier Robins, lobbied for minimum wages as well as restricted work hours and child labour.
