      Can be used for self assessment to get help or find interventions to improve your mental health. (Targets areas of dysfunction)

      Subjective: characteristics are vague as well as difficult to measure accurately.
      Difficult to be of perfect, ideal, mental health- suggests everyone is abnormal.
      Not everyone can relate to the criteri, individual potential isn’t desirable in all cultures.
