• The lobar bronchi in each lung divide, forming segmental bronchi
• Right lung has ten segmental bronchi
• Right lung has ten segmental bronchi:

  • three supply superior lobe
  • two supply middle lobe
  • five supply inferior lobe
• Left lung has nine segmental bronchi
• Left lung has nine segmental bronchi:

  • four supply superior lobe
  • five supply inferior lobe
• Segmental bronchi deliver air to the bronchopulmonary segments of the lungs
