• What is a double circulatory system?


  One part carries blood between the heart and lungs ; the other carries blood between heart and other organs
• What is the function of an artery?


  To carry oxygenated blood from the heart to the rest of the body
• What is the function of the vein?


  Carries deoxygenated blood from the organs back to the heart
• The right side of the heart pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs, where it picks up oxygen and gives off carbon dioxide.
