Procedural

• Procedural memory is our ability to recall how to do something (it is 'knowing how.....). This is often in the form of actions and/or skills. This can include our memory for how to ride a bike, drive a car or play an instrument. Procedural memories are difficult to explain and. For this reason they are not subject to conscious inspection and so are difficult to explain verbally (non-declarative).
