-Delivery problems will cause delays
-May not have time for quality control/ checks
What is a gantt chart and why would u use it 
Shows tasks, deadlines, durations and workers. Allows manufacturers to manage their resources. Able to see which tasks depend on others and therefore how sensitive the production process is to delays

Can't adapt to a sudden increase in orders.
Manufacturer becomes very dependent on suppliers
