• Solids: vibrate around a fixed position; regular arrangement; all touching
• Liquids: random arrangement; can move past each other; all touching - no gaps
• Gases: far apart; randomly arranged; can move past each other in all directions
• Sublimation is the transition of a substance directly from the solid to the gas phase without passing through the intermediate liquid phase.
• Water: 

  Melting point - 0°C

  Boiling point - 100°C
• Deposition: When a gas changes to a solid without becoming a liquid
