• Aim: To look at the proportions of secure, insecure-avoidant and insecure-resistant attachments across a range of countries and within countries
• To conclude this research concludes that there is validity behind the strange situation with his results reflecting the strange situation. However there is a lack of generalizability and universal validity as he didn’t equally researched it.
• however some countries have high levels of insecure attatchment which may be due to culture variations.
