Trade unions- free legal advice and represents in court you pay a fee every month.

Legal expenses-cover with other insurance (before the event insurance)-can pay extra fee for extra insurance for legal cover as an extra to home contents policy or motor policy (accident claim).

Probono clinics-for good of the public. Free, mainly based in london. The BAR have a probono advocacy clinic- offer advice, and representation. Universities-> also do probono clinics - free legal advice.
Free representation units- Bar probono uni (london) -> free representation. Barristers advice free and representation in cases which are ‘worthy’ or involves important areas of law
Charities- shelter- homeless charity- legal advice on social issues. Age concern- offer advice to elderly - trained advisors and volunteers.
Government funding legal aid- state pays for all legal costs if someone can’t afford it
