  • it can be linked to iblis tempting Adam and Eve to sin against god
  • evil and wicked things in life are a result of someone giving into Iblis temptations
  • under shariah law the severity of a punishment is related to the seriousness of the religious value that had been breached by the crime
  • shariah law puts a great emphasis on the beliefs and intentions of a person and even if you have thoughts of committing a crime it’s considered as serious as commuting the crime itself

  • Not all evil actions come from evil intentions sometimes a person my be influenced by the situation which they find themselves in and end up doing something wicked without setting out

  • social reason - many sociologists Believe people commit crime because they’ve been excluded from society as they have no qualifications and job which leads them them to commit crime they also believe that the way in which a parent brings up their children can lead them to committing Crime

  • Psychological reasons - some criminologist and psychologist believe that people can commit crime due to mental illnesses / psychological problems some would say that humans are naturally selfish and greedy which leads them to commit crime some criminologist believe that the media can include us to commit certain crimes like addiction
