Commissioned productions are paid for by companies. This also means that your pay is based on either the company as a whole if you are on a salary, or they will offer you a set amount of money to work on specific project.
Co-productions
Co-productions are where two or more companies or countries both contribute to the making of the production. Usually, you will be paid amount from all parties involved.
Self-generated
With self-generated products you get paid based on the sales of the product, e.g : box office tickets and DVD sales. This can be risky as your pay is entirely dependent on the success of the production.
Subscription
Subscription services and companies get paid based on the amount of subscribers and what they pay to what their content. If you release your product using one of these types of services, you will be paid based on the amount of new subscribers who have signed up to watch your product.
Author Bias
The tendency of an author to present information in a way that reflects their personal beliefs, values, or perspectives, instead of providing an objective or balanced view.
Confirmation bias
A media bias that presents only one side of the story to confirm a pre-held belief
