  • Duty of Care - Donoghue V Stevenson
Introduced the neighbour principle meaning anyone you ought to have in mind who might potentially be injured.
  • Was damage or harm reasonably foreseeable- Kent V Griffiths.
An ambulance was called to take C to hospital and it failed to arrive and C suffered a respiratory attack, it was reasonably foreseeable that C would suffer further illness.
  • Proximity of relationship- Bourhill V Young.
  • The Robinson case states that we dont use Caparo anymore in the law to establish duty unless it is a novel special duty situation.
Instead we will use Donoghue and the neighbour principle.
