  Observing events or behaviours and looking for patterns. Based on these patterns they come up with and test hypothesis. Then come up with a theory
• What is meant by Deduction?

  Researcher starts with a theory. Based on this hypothesis made. If hypothesis are not shown to be incorrect then the theory is confirmed
