  • Impulse Purchase:
    • Buying something without thinking, often in the spur of the moment. It might be because something has influenced the customer to buy (e.g. a promotion).
  • Routine Purchase:
    • Buying something because it is habit, e.g. going to buy a loaf of bread. These types of purchases happen without much thought.
  • Informed Consumer:
    • An informed consumer is capable of making sensible decisions, gain an insight about a product prior to its purchase.
