• If you are adding or subtacting two quantites or making multiple measurements, you need to add their absolute uncertainties
• If you are multiplying by a constant, you multiply the absolute uncertainty by the constant
• If you are multiplying or dividing two quantities, you add the percentage uncertainties together
• If a quantity is raised to a power, you multiply the percentage uncertainty by the power
