  They are:

  • Tawhid (oneness of Allah)

• Five roots of Shia Islam

  They are:

  • Tawhid
  • Divine justice (Allah will judge all fairly.)

  • Belief in authority of the Imams (descendants of Muhammad)
  • Day of resurrection (judgment day)
• Immanence


  The belief that Allah is close to humans within all things on Earth
• Transcendence


  Belief that Allah is above all things in the world and he is inpercieveable by humans
• Omnipotence


  Allah is all-powerful and the most powerful being
• Beneficence


  The idea of doing good and promoting the welfare of others
• Mercy


  Allah is kind and forgiving
• Adalat


  Divine justice and fairness of Allah
• Akhirah


  The afterlife, or the belief in everlasting life after death
• Al-Qadr


  Predestination - Allah already knows everything that will happen in the universe
• Malaikah / Angels


  Jibril

  • The main link between Allah and humans
  • The messenger

  Izra'il

  • Angel of Death
  • Separates souls from the bodies of the deceased
  • Transports souls after Death

  Mika'il

  • Friend to humanity
  • Giver of rain
  • Guards places of worship and rewards good deeds
