  ○ Tiny canal that connects the 3rd and 4th ventricles
• ● Cerebral peduncles — ANTERIOR

  ○ “Little feet of the cerebrum”

  ○ Two bulging fiber tracts

  ○ Convey ascending and descending impulses
• ● Corpora quadrigemina — POSTERIOR

  ○ Four rounded protrusions

  ○ Named as is because they reminded autonomist of two pairs of twins (gemini)

  ○ Visual and auditory reflex centers
