  Children begin to understand Concept of Conservation:

  ● Breaking candy bar in small pieces (still of the same size)

  ● Two sets of candy bars: first is broken into 2 equal sizes while the other is cut into 4 smaller but equally sized sections

  ○ While one is broken into 2 pieces, with the other broken into 4 pieces, they are still of equal size.
