    Orally to the child every 6 months until they are 5 years old (Twice a year)

    Established by R.A. 8976 (Food Fortification Program of 2000)
    ● Enhance nutritive quality of:
    (1) Staples (Mandatory) such as rice, flour, sugar, oil, etc. Ex: Rice fortified with iron
    (2) Processed Foods (Voluntary)
    Sangkap Pinoy Seal Program encourages food manufacturers to fortify their products. Ex: Hotdogs fortified with Vitamin A

    WHO? For children from 1 to 12 years of age.
    WHEN? Every 6 months:
    ● Common deworming months are in January or July.
    WHERE? Deworming happens usually in public schools that are in compliance with the Department of Health and Department of Education.
