  • death of a family member
  • moving to a new home
• they only picked people who had gone through these experiences at ages 1-5 however family stories and photos may have helped them remember so are they actually memories
• • so they were then asked if they had any of the following to help remember the events
  • family stories
  • photos
  • movies
• 200/222 had at least one
• early memories are measured using target recall
• multistore memory systems are the reason why childhood amnesisa occurs
