Quality Control

Cards (3)

  • This is where the product is inspected and checked at the end of the production process.
  • Advantages:
    • Prevents faulty, poor quality goods reaching customers.
    • Doesn't take a lot of time as goods are only inspected at the end of the process.
  • Disadvantages:
    • Waste could be high as faults are only found once the product is completed.
    • This could significantly add to the costs of production if a whole batch is wasted.
