    People now link migration to an increased risk of terrorism. Public demand for government to deal with this has increased the use of surveillance technology.
  • How has globalisation increased crime?

    -Taylor- TNCs have been able to switch production to developing countries (takes advantage)
    -Glenny- global shadow economy- worth 1 trillion a year and high levels of violence within it
    -Hobbs- globalisation means crimes no longer local its glocal
    -Sex trafficking for prostitution- 3000-4000 women have been trafficked into the UK organised by Eastern European gangs.
