Enlargement

• How do you enlarge a shape?

  1. First plot the centre of enlargement.
  2. Pick a vertex on the shape and count how far it is from CoE (Centre of Enlargement).
  3. Multiply it by the SF (Scale Factor).
  4. Plot the new vertex from the CoE.
  5. Enlarge all vertices by the SF.
  6. Check if the vertices and CoE are in a straight line.
