water cycle

• 1. water from land and sea evaporates into water vapour because of energy from the Sun - water evaporate from plants (transpiration)
• 2. warm water vapour moves up, cools and condenses to form clouds
• 3. water falls from clouds as precipitation, and provides fresh water for plants and animals
• 4. water from precipitation drains into sea and cycle starts again
