  Disadvantage:

  -corrupt governments (like Nigeria) may change data to appear economically stronger

  -if a country (like Nigeria) has few wealthy people, the value may appear larger than it actually is

  -doesnt indicate quality of life for people who live there
• advantage and disadvantage for birth rate, death rate, infant mortality, life expectancy and people per doctor
