In 1984, Jennifer Thompson was the victim of a violent sexual attack in her home.
During the attack, she consciously and purposely made a mental note of as many details as she could.
Following her description, Ronald Cotton was arrested and taken to a police line-up – Jennifer picked him twice in two separate occasions, and confidently stated he was her attacker.
There was no DNA/biological evidence connecting Ronald Cotton to the crime, however he was convicted to life in prison.
