there are no independent variables or dependent variables. there will be a relationship between co-variable 1 and co-variable 2
what does it mean by correlation co-efficient?
if it is a positive number then there is a positive correlation (both increase at the same time). if there is a negative number then it is a negative correlation (one increases while the other decreases)
what are the numbers for a correlation co-efficient?
this is between +0.8 and -0.8. this is the strength of the correlation. i the number is on 0.8 then there is a moderate correlation. if the number is above 0.8 e.g. 0.92, then there is a strong correlation. if its below 0.8 e.g. 0.62, then there is a weak correlation
