  It is determined by one pair of sex chromosomes (xx for females and xy for males).
• What do the sex chromosomes influence?

  They influence the hormonal differences as well as differences in anatomy, such as reproductive organs, body shape, hair growth etc.
• What does gender refer to?

  It refers to a person's psychological status as either masculine or feminine.
