Used to see co-occurrence of 39 aspects of killings- showed us a subset of features which matched FBIs organised offender.

  not mutually exclusive. Variety of combinations occur at any given murder scene. Godwin- difficult to classify killers as one or other type. Victim may be smart and sexual competent but leaves body at spontaneous murder. Probably more of a continuum.
