DEV- Some laws may not be checked and become law regardless if they have issues. This can lead to bodies making law that don't align with Parliaments aims

DEV- Ensures all statutoryinstruments are checked which discourages bodies bringing laws they don't have power for. Prevents abuse of power
E- However over 3000statutoryinstruments are being passed meaning they may not be able to view them all in depth
Judicial Controls
P- Effective depending on case
DEV- Only effective when case has someone that's challenging the law (AylesburyMushrooms). If there's no one case cannot be brought before court
E- However cases that get to court are can declare void which is effective
