• What is the role of the circulatory system?

  To transport nutrients to and remove waste products from cells around the body.
• The pulmonary artery is the only artery that has deoxygenated blood and the pulmonary vein is the only vein that has oxygenated blood.
• The left side of the heart (oxygenated side) is bigger and thicker than the right side.
