The nervous system allows animals to coordinate their behaviour which also allows different parts of the body to work together to respond to changes in the environment
The nervous system is made up of a network of different cells called receptors, neurones and stimuli
Effectors respond to changes in the external and internal environment
A change in an environment is called stimuli
Cells called neurones recieve information about stimuli from receptor and they carry this around the body as electrical impulses
The CNS receive and process information about different stimuli
The central nervous system is made up of the brain and spinal cord
The CNS is a coordinator and receives and processes information from receptors
