Medial epicondylitis:
Also called
golfer's
elbow
Similar condition to tennis elbow but affects the
flexor tendons
that attach at the
medial epicondyle
of the
humerus
Presentation:
Pain and tenderness at the
medial epicondyle
Pain often radiated down the
forearm
Can lead to weakness in
grip strength
Exam:
Pain on active wrist
flexion
against resistance whilst palpating over the
medial epicondyle
Management is the same as for
lateral
epicondylitis
