• Greenhouse Effect Process:

  1. Sun heats up the Earth with Visible Light + UV (short wavelengths)
  2. Some Visible Light + UV is reflected back into space
  3. Earth's surface warms up due to the absorbed Visible Light + UV
  4. Heat is emitted into atmosphere as Infrared radiation
  5. Greenhouse Gases absorb the Infrared radiation, increasing the temperature
